Delight Lab

I am Marcela Saito, born and raised in Culiacan, Mexico. My childhood was filled with food and family gatherings alongside my five siblings. My parents, Alejandro and Rebeca, were always cooking. My father was detail oriented and true to his Japanese and French roots while my mother, being German and Spanish, was adventurous and creative with a very good taste. My sons Andre and Paulo and my husband Jorge were the ones that pushed me to pursue this project and make my dream come true. Experiencing new flavors is something I thrived for so I began my journey traveling around the world. I have lived in three countries and visited thirty-three. Food, traditions, friends, languages, and memories have filled my life with joy. Over the years I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible chefs that have really helped me to perfect my craft. With all my experience in french cuisine it really made me realize what my passion was: cooking and baking. Today I have decided to share my joy with you all. I'm here creating, inventing, and making what I love, seeing you happy when you taste something new.
